The Victorian motorcycle wreckers have been operating for 28 years as Victoria’s leading late-model bike wrecker. They also stock a range of second-hand parts and accessories. They will ship parts Australia-wide and internationally on request.
They are now in the process of closing down and liquidating all their sock so this is a good time to grab some bits for a project bike or just add a bit to your collection. They will be selling their parts via their online store and can be contacted by phone or email.
Rust and Resilience: Exploring Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers’ Legacy
Established in 1889 and located at 154 Swanston St, Melbourne. They advertised Humber, Werner, and Kellow motorcycles. The business moved to 855 Lonsdale St, Melbourne in 1903. This was the location of a later branch at 69 Wentworth Ave, Sydney in the 1990s.
They were agents for DKW and HRD motorcycles and carried out repairs, overhauls, valve inserts, wheel conversions etc. Also supplied spares. They were the main Australian importers of Morini Corsaro and 49cc Corsarinos. They opened a workshop in the early 1980s and built some quite spectacular Moto Guzzi KCS specials. One was ridden by Mick Lendrum at Bathurst in a crash that the story told us nearly destroyed him. They were also the agents for Beardmore Precision.
